The new 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide is almost upon us, with anticipation high among both players and DMs. To coincide with the upcoming release, popular third-party D&D publisher Beadle & Grimm’s has just announced that they’ll also be releasing a new Dungeon Master’s Guide Premium Map Collection. The high-end set, which contains a DM screen and a variety of battle maps taken from the new DMG, will be released December 2024 and is currently available for pre-order from the Beadle & Grimm’s website.
So just what new territory will this box set uncover? Below, we map out all the details.
What is the Dungeon Master’s Guide Premium Map Collection?
The new Beadle & Grimm’s DMG map collection is a limited edition box set that contains the following:
- 30 battle maps: These are full color versions of the black and white maps included in the appendix of the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide. Notably, they are large format and grided so they can be used on the table with miniatures, with designs from noted RPG and VTT map makers Moonlight Maps, The Voyager’s Workshop, and Stinky Goblin.
- 2 canvas area maps: These maps feature the City of Greyhawk and Eastern Oerik, two regions that are included in the 2024 DMG as part of a larger sample campaign set in the world of Greyhawk. Both are 21×30” and printed on canvas, making them ideal for play or as wall art.
- DM screen: This four-panel fold out uses a similar design as the new 2024 DM screen, with updated rules and tables for the new version of DnD 5e. The art, however, is inspired by the Greyhawk setting and the interior also includes important information on the world of Oerth, including the names of the gods, the calendar, currency and important NPCs.
What specific maps are included in the Beadle & Grimm’s collection?

Where Can You Get the Beadle & Grimm’s DMG Map Collection?
Currently, you can pre-order a copy only from the Beadle & Grimm’s website. It is possible that you may also be able to get it from your friendly local game store, although it is a limited edition item and in most cases B&G products are only available through their website. The box set will be officially be released in December 2024, just a few weeks after the official November 12th release of the new 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide.
How much is the new Beadle & Grimm’s DMG Map Collection?
The new 2024 DMG Premium Map Collection retails for $160 USD (although there is currently a 10% on pre-orders). This is definitely on the pricey side, but not unexpected given the high quality and limited edition nature of Beadle & Grimm’s products. It’s also comparable to what we’ve seen with other products of theirs. For example, their Keys from the Golden Vault DM set.
Final Thoughts
The new 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide represents a major evolution for D&D, so it makes sense that it’s getting a high end treatment from Beadle & Grimm’s; a company that has been creating absolutely gorgeous, table-ready products for almost a decade. While it’s definitely not a cheap product, the maps and artwork featured in this new box set look incredible and longtime fans of Greyhawk are going to be particularly happy to see the world of Oerth front and centre.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this product in the days ahead and will hopefully get a closer look after launch. In the meantime, the new Beadle & Grimm’s DMG Premium Map Collection is currently available for pre-order.
